American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Cape Coral is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Cape Coral is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’ve been searching for years for good guava treats for my husband. I came across a tiktok video of a guava cake they make. Ordered one for my husbands birthday. It was a success! We will be back to try all the other wonderful looking treats in the cases. Thank you!

Juanca’s Bakery is a true gem. Every visit has been a great experience. The food is fresh, the service is outstanding, and you can tell there is a lot of passion behind everything they make. The bakery is clean, welcoming, and always has something delicious to offer.

It is a tiny restaurant/cafe but they are always organized and give good service. the coffee is great and the pastries taste great as well. I got the coco pastry, meat pastellito and croquetas. weekends are crazy busy so be prepared for that. overall I would say their food is fresh tasting and the pricing is decent as well. I have been coming here for years when i want a quick cuban bite. On my last visit they have not changed my mind. I just hope one day they are able to open in a location that has more space for parking as it’s a little tight. I think it would be well deserved as there is a lot of potential.

Nice little Cuban bakery, mom-and-pop diner atmosphere. One of those tiny places in Cape Coral you wouldn't even notice is there, until I walked past it after getting my haircut next door. I had the grilled chicken breast with the onions, congri (Cuban rice+beans mix), and sweet plantains. The food was very hot, fresh, and well seasoned, the plantains were sweet and crisp. Loved the food, definitely will be coming back for lunch next time I'm in the area.

If you’re searching for the best Cuban bakery near me, look no further than Juanca’s Bakery! This local spot is a true hidden gem bringing the taste of Cuba right to Southwest Florida. Their freshly baked pastelitos, Cuban bread, and guava and cheese pastries are absolutely delicious β€” soft, flaky, and perfectly sweet. The Cuban coffee (cafΓ© con leche and cortadito) is strong, smooth, and full of flavor β€” exactly what you’d expect from a traditional Cuban cafΓ©. You can also grab Cuban sandwiches, ham croquetas, and empanadas that taste just like Havana. The staff is always warm and welcoming, the prices are affordable, and everything is baked fresh daily. Whether you’re craving authentic Cuban desserts, breakfast pastries, or a real Cuban lunch, Juanca’s Bakery is hands-down the place to go in Cape Coral / Fort Myers area.
